Trump Breaks Silence on Comey
President Donald Trump tweets out, "despite so many false statements and lies, total and complete vindication... and WOW, Comey is a leaker!" In referring to Comey, Trump was citing Comey's acknowledgement that he had asked a friend to leak his memos about his conversations with the president. By referring to "total and complete vindication," Trump was more than likely thinking of Comey's confirmation on Thursday that, "there was no counterintelligence nor criminal investigation of Trump individually and that the president was not personally under investigation." I still believe there should be an investigation done on Trump. If Trump isn't afraid of hiding anything, he should allow one to be done on him so he can get it over with and prove the critics wrong.
