I think within five to ten years the future will still look the same as today with just a couple more iPhones and Samsungs out. With how lazy we are as a society, I don't think that there will be any technological advancements besides the little ones in the phones or computers. I don't believe there will be any crazy new inventions that will help us save energy or keep the air from getting polluted. If I could suggest what I would like to have done within this time span though, I would try to put FlexFuel and EcoBoost towards other brands of cars to help with the environment a little more and to save people a little more money. If I could suggest having a long-term project done, I would like to have solar-powered roads. Why? We could further advance our cars by making them all electrical, eliminating gas-powered vehicles, causing pollution to decrease. It'll also help save energy in general because of the energy coming from the panels. It will cost a lot of money, but I do believe it is a good idea. Other than that, I don't believe we will do much within five to ten years. In fifty years though? I believe by then we could have cars that drive themselves. We will have a lot of advancements towards phones, computers, and other internet-related items. I also think that minimum wage pay will go up a lot, prices will definitely sky-rocket, job availability will probably go up, and the number of homeless and bankrupt people will go down. I don't believe anything too big will be done, but I do believe that there will be some change in the future. Hopefully they are good changes.
